How to cook bid’s nest

 

Stewing bid’s nest is effortless in these 3 easy steps:

Divide 37.5g of bird’s nest into 3 equal parts.Soak the material in clean water for several hours(depending on nest types).

Remove tiny feathers in the bird’s nest and cleanse with water.

Put the bird’s nest, 500c.c. of water, and suitable amount of rock sugar into a bowl with a tight lid.

Steam the bowl in a steamer until the steamer is turned off automatically. Or it can be double-steamed in a pot for approximately 20~30 minutes.
* Stewed bird’s nest can last up to seven days in the refrigerator. *
 

When to eat:

  • 11 p.m.~1 a.m. (most effectively absorbed by the human body at midnight, when Ying and Yang join)
  • 5a.m.~7p.m. (for kids, women and the elderly.)
  • 3p.m.~5p.m. (to strengthen overall wellbeing)
  • It is suggested to eat on an empty stomach, 1.5 to 2 hours before regular meals.
