【How to eat】
1. First remove the small amount of impurities stuck to the hashima
2. Place 9 grams of the hashima in 1,000cc of mineral water or pure water for six hours, until it absorbs the water and becomes semi-transparent
3. Rinse the hashima, place it in a stewing pot and add 100cc of water and 100 grams of rock sugar and then put in an electric rice cooker, adding one cup of water to the external pot until the water starts to boil . If one does not have an electric rice cooker then steam in a container under a gentle flame for 20-30 minutes.
4. Once the hashima cools down place in a refrigerator. The 9 grams of hashima should be enough for about seven days
Note: The taste is enhanced if 2-3 teaspoons are taken in the morning and at night with fresh milk, soy milk, almond tea or another beverage.
